Countryside Outfit Inspiration

Our 2024 Countryside Edit has been photographed by Tuesday Bailey at Tribe Photography Dorset. This was a really exciting opportunity to work closely alongside a local photographer to showcase our handmade, organic clothes being worn. I know I certainly find it easier to visualise an outfit after seeing a modelled look!

Sophie's Styling Tips:
- Pair leggings with a neutral, chunky knit jumper to add texture to your outfit.
- Layer rompers and dresses over a long-sleeved top or jumper so that the countryside design remains on show.
- With the right styling, our bummie rompers can be worn all year around! For cooler days, wear them over a long sleeve top and/or a chunky knit jumper with tights and on warmer days they can be worn by itself. Don't believe me? See the photos below from our styled shoot.
- Coordinate your daughter's dress or romper with a frill-neck top or vest to add delicate detail to your outfit.
- Dresses look adorable with long socks (think of the ones we used to wear at school) or those with a bow detail, in addition to the obvious choice of tights.
- When styling your daughter's hair, choose a bow in a complimentary colour to pick out a specific element from the design.
- For those cooler spring days, head over to Esme & Friends UK to browse her handmade, crotched bonnets as many of her designs coordinate beautifully with our clothes. Feel free to message either of us for recommendations. We are also huge fans of Sunday & Sea Rockpool jumpers and they look gorgeous paired with our Countryside collection, for both sons and daughters.
- Some of our designs have coordinating transfer tops, where a design element is applied to a plain top and allows you to 'complete the look'. Recommendations for these are made on the individual listings.
- Remember: all of our (non-floral) countryside designs are gender-neutral; you'll be surprised at how a differing choice of cuff colour alters the overall vibe. If you would like any advice, please do contact me through the website or our Flynn & Me ClothinInstagram page.
